A large and quite striking specimen from a new find of Calcite from the Longyan mine in Fujian, China. It features numerous lustrous, bright canary-yellow Calcite rhombohedrons with a sprinkling of a second generation of smaller white Calcite crystals. The Calcite is strongly fluorescent, exhibiting different reactions to shortwave (next photo) and longwave UV light (3rd photo), and is also PHOSPHORESCENT under shortwave UV light. In excellent condition, and quite showy for display as shown.
