Pinnacle 5
We found the superstars from Pinnacle 5 Minerals, Joe and Krystal, who many know from the weather channel show “Prospectors” and maybe, before then, when they were superstars of the-vug.com! We always love seeing the treasures they have unearthed. There was a shelf of bright blue halite salt crystals and a sign that, if i had to verbally say that as often as they do, I’d go INSANE! the big honkin fluorite really caught my eye, as well as this beautiful smoky/amazonite cluster

Rocksaholics out of Texas brought so many fine minerals. Usually we think of the bold tourmalines and kunzites they have, but they also have other fine things, like this Romanian Rhodochrosite.

Stonetrust, out of Connecticut, always has beautiful minerals. We wanted to show you a few, like these rhodochrosite slabs, citrine and colorful minerals

Uncarved Block from California was at the show, with almost too many lovely things to choose from. This year Pu Tzu had a few interesting old stock zuni bears made out of aquamarine, sugilite and covelite! Totally 70’s! The big anglesite was shocking and there were lots of nice liddicoatite slabs, like this lovely stack.

Weinrich Minerals was at the show, if not for one reason beyond making me drool over this big honkin Alexandrite crystal. Maybe after I refinance my house, or marry me a sweet sugar daddy. That Austinite is Top Notch and the rhodochrosite is just beautiful.
