From a locality famous for its highly fluorescent Fluorite I am pleased to offer for your enjoyment a fine large cabinet display specimen of this beautiful material. The crystals exhibit a very lively purplish fluorescence under both longwave and shortwave UV light (not shown). They also exhibit a property called DAYLIGHT FLUORESCENCE, where the edges of the cubes acquire a BLUE TINT in the presence of normal daylight – this happens even in the shade, as seen above. Lots of GEMMY penetration twins on this impressive piece. In excellent condition, with very good presentation for display.
