A very handsome specimen from a brand-new find (July 2023) at the famous Sweetwater mine in Missouri. It features a group of Pyrite casts (epimorphs) after Anhydrite crystals arranged into the graceful composition pictured. A cap of botryoidal “blister” Chalcopyrite crystals adds a nice bit of textural contrast to an already striking display specimen. Lots of fine details for you to explore all over.
