Aegirine, Zircon from Mt. Malosa, Zomba, Malawi

A nicely balanced Aegerine specimen from Zomba, Malawi. It features a group of nicely terminated and quite lustrous Aegerine crystals interjoined to create the graceful compostion pictured. The base of the cluster is sprinkled with numerous small prismatic Zircon crystals. The Zircon FLUORESCES yellow under shortwave UV light (not shown).
