Phenakite, Aquamarine from Badakhshan, Afghanistan
A unique and quite rare specimen of Phenakite crystals on Aquamarine from Badakhshan, Afghanistan. It features a small plate of rich London-blue Aquamarine that is hosting numerous nicely formed and quite lustrous crystals of Phenakite. It is truly ONE OF A KIND; I have seen one or two photos of Phenakite crystals from this locality, but never in combination with any other mineral.
